There were 10 changes of lead at Fuji which is the most in
any race since the 1971 Italian GP - the last of the Monza
slipstreamers. There have been 596 races in the interim.

The record is 40 changes at Monza in 1965. There have been
nine Monza GPs with 10 or more lead changes - 1953, 63, 64,
65, 67, 68, 69, 70 & 1971. The Indy 500 also saw a lot of
lead changes between 1950-60, exceeding 10 in six seasons -
1954, 55, 56, 58, 59 & 1960.

The only other GPs to include 10 or more changes were:

GER 1959 22
BEL 1961 14
ESP 1954 13
GER 1970 13
FRA 1953 12
FRA 1960 12
FRA 1961 12
JPN 2008 10
