#48 лишён лицензии OATAS.
До конца сезона у WRI есть только машина #49.
До конца сезона у WRI есть только машина #49.
Quote: Alex,
The #48 lost it's license in the last race at Silverstone and was no better at Spa - in fact it was worse. Frankly the drivers in that car either do not have the talent and/or do not possess the necessary sportsmanship to compete in OATAS. I have had more complaints about that one car in the past few races than any other car/driver in the 6 years I have admin'd different leagues. To be fair, not every incident I saw was the #48's fault, but several were due to the very slow corner entry speeds which caught a lot of cars off-guard.
So that you understand why I feel this way, please view this video of the first 40 laps for that car (I stopped looking after that because it was obvious it wasn't going to get any better)

You can view all of the Race Control replays if you wish at: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=RTVYR8OX
When you view this, you will notice a striking lack of car control that put many other cars in jeopardy of being damaged. In a few instances the car went up Eau Rouge nearly 60 mph slower than anyone else takes that corner and then pulled right onto the racing line as a car was coming to pass. That is extremely dangerous and the car posed a hazard in many situations. In other situations after the car spun, the driver pulled out in front of oncoming traffic.....not once - but on several occasions. The #48 team has received several warnings over the past few races and things have not improved.
I'm not sure who you put in the car, but I do not want to see them racing in OATAS until they are capable of completing a stint without either wrecking themselves or anyone else. So here is what I propose to do......
For the rest of this season, WorldRacingInfo will only be allowed to enter one car in the remaining events. Presumably it will be the #49 which has not caused many incidents. I expect that you will put your most capable drivers in the #49 and compete without incident in the remaining events. In the meantime, you should take the time to develop your less experienced/capable drivers with the rest of your team in order to be able to competently compete in 2009. At that time, you can apply to have those cars reinstated into the league.
If you have any questions, please email me.
Take care,
