а разве до этого она не была ограничена по времени???

[B]6.31.2. Race Time. [/B]At all events a maximum race time, exclusive of any red
flag period(s), may be allotted for competition. Prior to the start of the event,
the Race Director will declare whether or not a time limit exists for the event,
as well as the maximum race time. When a time limit is in effect, as the lead
car approaches the start/finish line and the elapsed race time approaches the
declared time limit the white flag will be displayed. The race will end the next
time the lead race car crosses the start/finish line. The Race Director’s
decision in this regard is final and not subject to protest or appeal.
