- Самый тихий спокойный финиш на 3-ем месте когда-либо.

- Он выиграл сегмент и конечно был силен вполне для победы в целом перед тем как каждый решил попробовать воссоздать состав три-в-ряд "Голубых Ангела" ...

- Он также выиграл сегмент но "пиф-нул" когда каждый прочий "паф-нул" на пит-стопах. Однако, мы даём ДжДж бонус очки за величайщий разворот в середине трафика, что в результате ни один не получил урон.

The red flag waved so many times over the Red Bull on Monday, the only thing missing was a matador. Then again, Bobby Allison -- who used to drive Matadors -- gave the command to start engines, so perhaps that was the problem.

No, no, not Detroit!: I wouldn't say Juan's Chase chances hinge on one weekend, but if he could break his Michigan jinx, it be would huge. He's never finished on the lead lap there, and his average Michigan finish is 33rd.


Kasey Kahne
News item: Richard Petty Motorsports lays off employees because of Chrysler bankruptcy. How will that affect Kasey? Well, if he pulls into the pits and there's a stack of tires, an air wrench and two fuel cans sitting there with a sign that says "Help yourself," he'll know for sure.


Marcos Ambrose
Lean like a cholo? "I've got to work on my elbow strength, because my elbows are worn out." That's what happens when that Down AKA Kilo song gets stuck in your head all day.

Mark Martin - You know there are tire problems when Martin spins out by himself. When it rains on Martin, it pours.

Tony Stewart - He and teammate Ryan Newman both got "tired" at Atlanta, and this is not the guy Goodyear wants having tire problems.

Juan Pablo Montoya - After watching his poor restart at Atlanta, I'm guessing they don't have green-white-checkered finishes in Formula One.

Paul Menard - OK, so his daddy bought him a ride, but who suddenly taught him how to drive?

Scott Speed - So he paints his toenails and pees in the shower. If he makes the Chase for the Sprint Cup, he can do anything he wants.

Carl Edwards - Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde has now choked another driver (Harvick), crashed Dale Jr.'s victory party (Michigan), feigned punching his own teammate (Kenseth) and given Keselowski some frequent flyer miles (Atlanta). The Carl has some issues.

Gain of the Week: Kasey Kahne - Drop of the Week: Mark Martin

Jimmie Johnson = Kurt Busch probably won some fans over Sunday, for no other reason than he was the driver who stopped Jimmie Johnson. This is what it's come to.

Matt Kenseth = He would be an early candidate for Comeback Driver of the Year if it weren't for that pesky Kevin Harvick mucking up things.

Greg Biffle = The Biff has tiptoed his way through the early part of the season as quietly as someone can who's finished in the top 10 in every race.

Kurt Busch = Just when you think KuBusch and his team are going to implode, they respond with a win. That's sort of his M.O. He was at his best last year after his crew chief announced he was leaving. He threw his crew under the bus in Las Vegas. Sunday, he wins.

Mark Martin = Did you notice that Martin didn't have a sponsor on his hood at Atlanta? (No, a Hendrick website doesn't count.) Shows you how tight things are for everyone.

Kasey Kahne = Kahne hasn't had a resurgence the last two weeks. Rather, he simply hasn't run into any bad luck. He's had plenty of speed all season long.

Jeff Burton = When it comes to Burton, the standings are somewhat deceptive. Yes, he sits 6`th, but no, he hasn't finished in the top 10 more than once.

Tony Stewart = Prediction of the Week: Stewart will languish around 10th in the standings until early June, then win 3 races over the summer and vault to or near the top of the standings.

Jeff Gordon = (In Jerry Seinfeld voice) "What was the deal with those Hendrick cars at Atlanta? I mean, I haven't seen one family have that many issues since Jon and Kate broke up."

Lucky Dog: Paul Menard = We're still not ready to put him in the top 12. That said, Paul Menard will be a part of the top 12 press conferences in two weeks at Bristol. Amazing.

DNF: Carl Edwards = That was one of those deals where he probably thought it was open season on Brad Keselowski, and it was, just not to that degree.

In one race, Edwards transformed Keselowski from goat to victim.
